ePodcast Express The Easiest Way Yet to Upload Podcasts
(Seattle, WA) Now, no matter how a podcast is created, Industrial Audio Software offers the easiest, most complete solution yet to the entire process of creating RSS feeds and uploading: ePodcast Express. The newest addition to the popular ePodcast Series is being launched this weekend at Portable Media Expo in Ontario, California. ePodcast Express offers step-by-step express publishing of all audio files for the first time podcaster, as well as support for full iTunes tagging. It will be available as a standalone product and incorporated into ePodcast Producer and ePodcast Creator.
Since its inception almost two years ago, podcasting has grown to an international communications phenomena, with participants from grandmothers to garage bands to Fortune 500 companies. From the beginning, though, it has been the process of creating feeds and uploading to a host site on the web that has been the most intimidating part of the podcasting process. But now, ePodcast Express promises simple, affordable solutions to these challenges in a way that even the most technologically challenged can appreciate and understand.
ePodcast Express utilizes an interactive Assistant to walk users through the steps, with easily accessible onscreen help-presented in a question/answer format-available from the menu. Each question and its implications in the process are defined and illustrated by examples. In keeping with the philosophy behind such other ePodcast Series successes as ePodcast Producer and ePodcast Creator, ePodcast Express is designed to be used by professionals and part-time podcasters alike.
In response to various levels of need, Industrial Audio Software CEO, Tom Jeffries, spoke recently in an interview with Paul Colligan of PodcastTools.com. "Our approach recognizes different personal styles in podcasting," he said. "With the ePodcast Series, we're creating products that reflect these differences in style." ePodcast Express is the latest innovative offering from the company whose expressed goal has always been that of "Giving the World a Voice."

ePodcast Creator Named Best of Show at Portable Media Expo
ePodcast Creator Named Best of Show at Portable Media Expo
(Seattle WA) Industrial Audio Software's ePodcast Creator has been recognized as this year's "Best All-Inclusive Podcasting Software" at the first exposition devoted entirely to podcasting, Portable Media Expo, held in Ontario, California, this past weekend. Since the introduction of the ePodcast Series, IAS has been actively involved with creating podcasting software that allows users to spend their time working on the content of their message, not the engineering behind its delivery.
"This is very gratifying for us," says Tom Jeffries, CEO of Industrial Audio Software. "We set out a year ago to produce the most complete solution for podcasters, one that would allow them to record, edit, and upload podcasts easily and without switching from program to program, and this honor has given all thirty of us big smiles. We put the full weight of our twenty-one years of audio software experience behind the ePodcast Series and are very pleased with the result."
In addition to the many independent podcasters present, as well as representatives from hosting sites and hardware manufacturers, IAS reached out to southern California educators by offering them free passes to the event. Teachers who viewed demonstrations were particularly impressed by ePodcast Creator's directness and simplicity of use. "We told them that in less time than it took them to grade a stack of spelling tests, we could show them everything they needed to know to make a podcast,” says sales director.
The wide cross-section of people and interests represented at PME shows that podcasting is now fully integrated in the mainstream of communications technology. Like print, radio, and television, podcasting is an effective way to reach around the globe; yet, podcasting is inexpensive, relatively unrestricted by regulations, and, as ePodcast Creator has clearly shown, easy for anyone anywhere to begin using.

Bringing the ePodcast Series to Portable Media Expo
(Seattle WA-November 3, 2005) "Podcasting started out as entertainment, but we're seeing it grow far beyond that. Podcasting is a powerful way of communicating, and corporations, schools, non-profits, government agencies, religious and social groups, advertisers, and others are recognizing this potential." This is how Industrial Audio Software CEO, Tom Jeffries, explains the importance of his company's presence at the Portable Media Expo in Ontario, California, November 11 and 12. IAS will bring its popular ePodcast Series to what is being billed as the most complete conference yet on podcasting and related technology.
Because of this billing, Portable Media Expo is a natural venue for Industrial Audio Software to unveil its two latest surprise offerings in its line of innovative podcasting products. Continued development in response to users' needs promises to make these exciting new products consistent with the creative solutions that have established the ePodcast Series as "a noteworthy example of a new class of software (John R. Quain, The New York Times)."
Portable Media Expo organizers are expecting over 2,500 representatives from all walks of audio and video media to gather and hear over ninety professional presentations. Also, in keeping with their commitment to bring podcasting into the classrooms of schools everywhere, Industrial Audio Software has teamed with Portable Media Expo to make available complimentary tickets to southern California educators who respond to a special invitation. From Florida to Washington state, IAS is working with teachers and districts to make podcasting a daily part of teaching and learning.
In addition to complimentary passes, show discounts, and the opportunity to meet representatives of Industrial Audio Software, the ePodcast Team is giving all of its visitors a special opportunity: the chance to create and upload their own five minute podcast right from the IAS booth. Regardless of one's technical skills, anyone who wishes will learn how easy it is to create, record, edit, and upload a podcast using ePodcast Producer. This is just one more way Industrial Audio Software has of "Giving the World a Voice."

ePodcast Series Integrates iTunes Tags for Podcasting
(Seattle, WA -September 24, 2005) Industrial Audio Software today announced the ability to create iTunes tags from within the latest versions of its popular ePodcast Series. ePodcast Producer and ePodcast Creator, the first completely integrated podcasting systems, now allow users the easiest way yet to offer their podcast to Apple's popular new iTunes Podcast Directory.
Since its introduction in March, ePodcast Producer has grown to include such things as built-in sound effects, a comprehensive tutorial accessible from within the program, and an onscreen teleprompter. Now, with the inclusion of iTunes specific tags with ePodcast's built-in RSS feed creation tool, users of both ePodcast Producer and ePodcast Creator can easily add iTunes specific tags to their podcast. By doing so, the ePodcast Series continues to meet the changing needs of podcasters.
Listing in Apple's iTunes Podcasting Directory allows podcasters to expand their reach and find the broadest possible audience for distributing their audio content across the web. Audiences will be able to subscribe and download their show directly from iTunes. With the latest ePodcast Series, Industrial Audio Software has taken ease of use to another level by making the addition of iTunes propriety tags as simple as filling out a basic form.
The reputation of the ePodcast Series is built on the goal of "Giving the World a Voice." This objective is leading critics such as The New York Times to call the ePodcast Series "a noteworthy example of a new class of software." Now, with the capacity to create iTunes tags, Industrial Audio Software adds one more way that their customers' podcasts will be heard anywhere, any time, by anyone with a computer.
